About 50 percent of our cars and trucks are offered to licensed dealers at wholesale auctions and are reused for transportation. The opposite half are normally transported to car salvage yards where all reusable auto pieces, batteries, tires and fluids are taken off. Vehicles that could be recycled are crushed, shredded and recycled into steel.
